The next FPLA Sponsor-A-Highway Trash Pick Up will be on Saturday August 15, 2026 at 8 AM. Rain date  is Sunday, August 16, 2026 at 8 AM.

Volunteers are needed to pick up trash on Route 9, starting at the intersection of Elm Ave heading East to the intersection of 31 North.

Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age.

Participants must be alert to their surroundings and physically capable of safely picking up trash near highway traffic.

Please meet at the entrance of Winkleman's Point in Antrim.  We will go over safety rules, distribute vests and trash bags, and assign sections to be covered.

Things to bring: water, bug spray, gloves and a picker upper, if you have one.  

What to wear: There is a lot of poison ivy, so be sure to wear a long sleeved shirt and long pants.  We also recommend waterproof shoes and a hat.
